The Ultimate Fighting Championship has officially launched its “Octagon Nation Tour,” an event the number one MMA promotion in the world hopes will bring in many more fans to the entertaining sport.

The “UFC Octagon Nation Tour” is expected to last several months and the event is scheduled to hit many major cities all over the country. The “UFC Octagon Nation Tour” will be in Las Vegas until May 29 before moving on to other destinations.

Fans will get unprecedented access to many of their favorite MMA fighters during the “UFC Octagon Nation Tour.” Events like autograph signing sessions and seminars will be a regular part of the tour. The “UFC Octagon Nation Tour” will also feature an Ultimate Fighting Championship memorabilia store, where fans can purchase anything from UFC gear to valuable memorabilia.

The “UFC Octagon Nation Tour” will also feature fitness activities, where fans can compete with one another and earn fight cards they can brag with later on. Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White seemed confident his company is headed in the right direction with the official launching of the “UFC Octagon Tour.” White told reporters:

“I’ve always said that the UFC live experience is the best in all of sports. With the Octagon Nation Tour, we are going to bring the fastest-growing sport in the world to some of the best events of the summer. We’re excited to hit the road and give fans the opportunity to check it out.”

In 2011, the UFC has been relentless as they continue to expand their fan base. From the live fight streams on Facebook, to Zuffa’s acquisition of Strikeforce, the UFC continues to find new ways to improve the quality of their product.
