“UFC Live 5” was another successful event for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, with a storyline that couldn’t have come to a better conclusion. Here are the results for “UFC Live 5,” held on August 14, at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Chris Lytle defeats Dan Hardy

Not to anyone’s surprise, both MMA fighters stood at the center of the Octagon and exchanged blows for the first two rounds. Hardy seemed to be getting the better of the exchanges, but Lytle was definitely holding his own. Hardy’s decision to take the MMA fight to the ground towards the end of the third round quickly backfired on the British UFC fighter. Lytle secured and finished a guillotine choke, with less than a minute left in the fight. Lytle fans couldn’t have asked for a better ending for the MMA veteran, who handed UFC president Dana White his retirement letter prior to weigh-ins on August 13.

Benson Henderson defeats Jim Miller

Henderson looked good in his second fight in the UFC, defeating top ranked lightweight MMA fighter Jim Miller rather convincingly. The MMA fight started off evenly, but Henderson started taking control in the second round. Henderson used his superior wrestling skills to dominate the MMA fight, earning himself the unanimous decision, and skyrocketing up the UFC lightweight rankings.

Donald Cerrone defeats Charles Oliveira

Cerrone’s power proved to be too much for Oliveira, knocking him down and finishing the Brazilian MMA fighter with some vicious ground and pound, two minutes into the fight.

Duane Ludwig defeats Amir Sadollah

Ludwig reminded many UFC fans of his impressive Muay Thai skills, out striking the “Ultimate Fighter” winner and earning the unanimous decision.
