UFC Live 5 predictions

“UFC Live 4” is a pretty stacked fight card that will be broadcast live on the Versus network. The event will take place on June 26, at the Consul Energy Center in Pittsburg, PA. The main event will be a very interesting matchup between Rick Story and Nate Marquardt. Here are my predictions for “UFC Live 4.”

Rick Story versus Nate Marquardt

Story is coming off his impressive win over Thiago Alves at UFC 130. Marquardt has been a top contender at the middleweight division, and he should be just as successful fighting as a welterweight. Very even MMA fight, but I have a feeling Marquardt will walk away with the win.

Patrick Barry versus Cheick Kongo

MMA fans should be in for an entertaining standup battle. Kongo’s strength and experience should help him outpoint Barry and walk away with the victory. Kongo wins by decision.

Tyson Griffin versus Manny Gamburyan

Griffin will have his work cut out for him in his featherweight debut. Griffin is currently on a three fight losing streak, and it’s unlikely the MMA fighter’s luck will change at “UFC Live 4.” Gamburyan wins by decision.

Matt Brown versus John Howard

This should be an interesting fight between two MMA fighters looking for redemption. Howard’s grappling will be his key to his success. Howard should be able to control Brown for three rounds, and walk away with the decision.

Matt Mitrione versus Christian Morecraft

Mitrione will try to keep his undefeated MMA record intact when he faces Morecraft inside the Octagon. Mitrione surprises me everything he steps into the Octagon, and I expect him to do the same at “UFC Live 4.” Mitrione wins by TKO.
