Despite the high number of injuries leading up to “UFC Live 5,” fans will still get to enjoy an entertaining night of MMA fights. “UFC Live 5” is scheduled for August 14, at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Here are my predictions for “UFC Live 5.”
Dan Hardy versus Chris Lytle
UFC fans will be in for some fireworks when these two MMA fighters meet inside the Octagon. Lytle is the more rounded MMA fighter, and that should give him the advantage in the fight. Lytle wins by decision.
Jim Miller versus Benson Henderson
Good enough to be a UFC main event by itself, these two top lightweight should put on a good performance for MMA fans. With a title shot around the corner for Miller, motivation won’t be a problem for the rising lightweight fighter. Henderson is one of my favorite WEC converts, but I just can’t see him getting past Miller. Miller wins by decision.
Duane Ludwig versus Amir Sadollah
This should be a good MMA fight between two solid strikers. Ludwig’s return to the UFC has been a little rough, going 1-2. On the other hand, Sadollah is currently on a two fight winning streak. It’s a pretty tough MMA fight to call, but I have to go with Sadollah.
Donald Cerrone versus Charles Oliveira
Both fighters came into “UFC Live 5” as replacements, yet this might turn out to be the fight of the night. Cerrone is currently of a four fight winning streak, while the 21 year old Oliveira has put together a 14-1 MMA record. Another tough MMA fight to call, but Cerrone’s experience will probably be the difference maker in the fight.
