UFC live 3, broadcast live on versus was another entertaining MMA fight card. The event was held at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The main event lived up to expectations, as Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann put on a 15 minutes display of world class MMA. Here are the results for the UFC live 3 MMA event, held on March 3.

Diego Sanchez defeats Martin Kampmann

Kampmann comes out really sharp, displaying his world class kickboxing skills. Kampmann was able to outpoint Sanchez in the first round. His takedown defense was impressive, effortlessly stuffing Diego's takedown attempts. Diego regrouped in the second round, making up for Kampmann's technical striking skills with sheer aggression. Sanchez forced Kampmann into a brawl and ended up winning the close decision. While some MMA fans might have felt Kampmann deserved the win, the judges actually got this one right.

Mark Munoz defeats C.B. Dollaway

Dollaway jumps on Munoz early, and is close to a Peruvian necktie. Munoz shakes him off, and lands a big right that sends Dollaway to the ground. Munoz rushes his opponent and lands a few more punches before referee Mario Yamasaki steps in. Dollaway tries to contest the stoppage, but the replay shows Dollaway was clearly disoriented.

Chris Weidman defeats Alessio Sakara

Tough bloody fight that kept MMA fans entertained for 15 minutes. Sakara started strong and dominated the less experienced Weidman in the first round. Weidman managed to cut Sakara in the second round, changing the direction of the fight. Weidman ended up winning the second and third rounds, on his way to the unanimous decision.

Brian Bowles defeats Damacio Page

Page is really aggressive in the opening moments of the fight, and looks comfortable in the Cage. He backs Bowles up until an uppercut sends him to the ground. Bowles storms Page with a few punches, before securing the guillotine choke and ending the fight.

Cyrille Diabate defeats Steve Cantwell (unanimous decision)

Danny Castillo defeats Joe Stevenson (unanimous decision)

Shane Roller defeats Thiago Tavares (KO round 2)

Takeya Mizugaki defeats Reuben Duran (split decision)

Dongi Yang defeats Rob Kimmons (TKO round 2)

Rousimar Palhares defeats Dave Branch (heel hook submission round 2)

Igor Pokrajac defeats Todd Brown (TKO round 1)
