UFC veteran Derek Brunson.

Ed Herman and Derek Brunson are both rugged American Middleweights that met on the preliminary UFC 183 card. Neither has a regret, but both know how to brawl.

They aren't the most skillful of mixed-martial-artists, but both can handle a fight wherever it takes them. They have also taken their losses. A win here could have put either man in the title picture; a loss out of luck.

Ed Herman was out of luck -- literally.

Derek Brunson ran out with intent. Two left hands delivered sharply on the chin dropped Herman, and that was all she wrote.

Brunson pounced and left Herman defenseless along the cage. The referee waved off the contest at :36 in, and declared him the winner.

Brunson has certainly improved since his Strikeforce days, and has now won two straight bouts since being knocked out by Yoel Romero in January of last year. He should find himself with a UFC ranking after this performance.
