The Strikeforce: Feijao versus Henderson event held at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, was a decent night of MMA fights. This even featured two championship bouts, the Strikeforce women's MMA welterweight title and the men's light-heavyweight title between Dan "Hendo" Henderson and Brazilian Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante. Here are the results of the Strikeforce: Feijao versus Henderson MMA fight event held on March 5.

Dan Henderson defeats Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante

Both MMA fighters are tentative in the first round, and spend a majority of the round dancing around. Henderson steps up his intensity in the second round, applying more pressure on Feijao. Henderson catches Feijao with a big right in the third round, sending the champion to the ground. Henderson rushes Feijao and finishes him off from the back, becoming the new Strikeforce light-heavyweight champion.

Marloes Coenen defeats Liz Carmouche

The champion Coenen comes off sharp and easy dominates her opponent in the first round. She runs in trouble in the second and third round, and it seemed like Carmouche had figured out the champion. Coenen regained her composure in the fourth round and secured a triangle choke while being taken to the ground. Carmouche taps and Coenen retains her Strikeforce women's MMA welterweight belt.

Tim Kennedy defeats Melvin Manhoef

For a moment, Kennedy looks like he's in trouble as Manhoef thwarts a few takedown attempts. Kennedy eventually gets the explosive striker to the ground and quickly moves to mount. He pounds Manhoef until he gives up his back and eventually sinks in the rear naked choke.

Jorge Masvidal defeats Billy Evangelista

The more experienced MMA fighter, Masvidal used his superior striking skills to out point Evangelista for three rounds. The judges gave Masvidal all three rounds for the easy unanimous decision, bringing an end to Evangelista's undefeated MMA record.
